The standard cart subtracts from the specified
inventory without regard to attributes (sizes,
colors, etc.). The Inventory by Attributes module
allows merchants to specify how many of each
specific size or color they have in stock. When the
purchase is made, the module accurately tracks which
item of which color or size was sold and then
registers this within the inventory lists.
